My AE Y60 has been up for 3 blazing hot North Carolina summers now and looks as good as the day it was installed. The quality of the powder coating, the synthetic bushings, and smart design (closed tube) mean no unsightly rust on my hoop. Friends and neighbors that purchased other brands (Goalrilla, Mega Slam) cannot say the same. Paint fade and rust are common on these competitors.
The aesthetic of a "clear view" backboard with the Y-arm design looks great (sorry Goalsetter) and the response off the board feels like the best indoor courts. The height adjustment mechanism is the right amount of effort (you don't have to crank for days to lower from max to min height) and unobtrusive.
My kids love playing on this goal almost as much as I do. This is the best purchase I have made for my home -worth every (very reasonable) penny. I'd have the best hoop on the block if I hadn't convinced my neighbor across the street to buy the same one!
